Sixteen year old Karting Ace Marlon Stockinger made history in Philippine Motorsport last weekend in Al Ain, Dubai, by finnishing in 8th position in the Rotax Max Senior category at the World Finals in Al Ain, UAE, near Dubai.
Walavalkar Dominates MRF India National Championship Rd.2
Ameya Walavalkar took two wins in the 2nd round of the MRF - Indian National Karting Championship in Coimbatore at the Kari Motor Speedway. Teammate Rounak Patil took 2nd in both finals to make it a double 1-2 for Mohite's Racing.

UK Karter Takes Track to Court
Lee Crawford in the UK took the Warden Law Circuit operators to court after being banned from the track after an alleged confrontation with another driver in October. The lawsuit failed with Lee's father being ordered to pay the case costs and the ban remains. After a quick search for results it seems that Lee had been active in the Super 1 Rotax DD2 category. FIA Decisions on Karting
The FIA World Motor Spots Council has announced some changes to regulations and other aspects of karting. These include the introduction of the CMH helmets, safety guidelines for leisure karting, and other interesting things such as the requirement of chain, brake, and ignition protection devices in certain cases.
