KartThai.com reports that the first round of the Thailand National Karting Championship was held last weekend with a total of 71 karters taking part in the racing.

Rock Island Grand Prix
The Rock Island Grand Prix organisers have issued a press release on their August 2008 event, announcing that they will retain the 125cc masters gearbox category. The Expat KL Karting Offer
Malaysian karting driver John King has been featured in the February edition of The Expat Magazine. The article has a bit about John and a bit about Karting in Malaysia. Forum Talk: Rotax Engine Recall and Race Engine Choices
A few interesting threads have developed in the karting forums. One is a thread about an engine recall from Rotax for Junior max engines - some cylinders have been found to be a bit outside of the standard tolerances and Rotax is offering a free replacement to owners of a cylinder that is out-of-spec. Another discussion which started on Yamaha-KT engine pricing has developed into a discussion about different engines being used in competition - is it more important to go fast or to have close racing - can you have both?
