Melvin Wins MELVIN MOH took the Plus Yamaha SL Cup Round 2 limelight as he crusied to a double win in the Senior category at the Speedway Plus Circuit today. The win comes as a delight for the Malaysian who last stepped on the podium in a kart race during the Formula KBS race at the same circuit in August last year. “I had a positive approach to this weekend and kept the momentum going till Race 2. I would to thank the crew and my team mates,” said the RL Karting driver.

KRS Win in Surabaya

The KRS Motorsports racing team made their way to Surabaya, Indonesia for the 2nd round of the Rotax Asia Zone Challenge. KRS driver Afiq Ikhwan took 2nd in the Senior Max pre-final and went one better in the final to take a commanding victory ahead of Japanese driver Sena Fujita.

Mitchell Gilbert prepares for first British race at PF International Kart Circuit

10margcast2364jc 15 year old Australian driver Mitchell Gilbert (Energy/TM/Vega) will compete in his first British event this weekend in the fourth round of the TVKC Club Championship at the PF International Kart Circuit on Sunday 4 April. Over 120 drivers will compete during the weekend in a three heat – one final format. Mitchell will go head to head with scores of British drivers who have spent their racing careers competing at the Lincolnshire based circuit.

Fauzy Lotus Racing Formula 1 drivers Heikki Kovalainen, Jarno Trulli, and Fairuz Fauzy were at the Speedway PLUS Karting Circuit today. Some of Malaysia's young karters were at the track to meet the drivers and ask questions about the Lotus Racing drivers' road to F1. Kovalainen, Fauzy, and AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes all took to the track in karts for a bit of fun.

Rahul Charges to Yamaha SL Cup Malaysia Rd1 Victory

Rahul wins Race 1 Rahul Raj Mayer took on the Senior category at the opening round of the PLUS Yamaha SL Cup Malaysia series held at the Sepang Karting Circuit last weekend. Following his win in the Junior category at the Rotax Max Malaysia Challenge held a few weeks earlier at the same track Rahul took 1st place at the Yamaha event as well. James Pull was the only double-race winner taking 1st in cadets, while Daniel Woodroof converted a 4th place in race 1 to a win in race 2 for the overall win.
