Drakar Sweeps Podiums in Singpaore

Singapore, 19 May 2010 – At the second round of the inaugural Nescafe
Singapore Karting Championship 2010, locally-owned Drakar Racing Team proved its
dominance once again as it claimed eight out of 18 possible podium spots. Across
five of six award categories in the national Championship, Drakar Racing had at least
one driver within the top three of each category, affirming its excellence in kart
racing.
James Pull Looking to Build on Championship Lead

Singapore, 20 May 2010 – Currently leading the championship for the 2010
Yamaha SL Cup Malaysia Series, James Pull heads to Speedway PLUS Circuit at
Selangor, Malaysia this Sunday with an aim to extend his lead. Racing under Team
Axle BHPetrol, the 10-year-old cadet karter started the Series with tremendous
success when he was the only driver to score a double win at round one of the
Yamaha SL Cup when he came in first for both races.
Rotax Max Malaysia Rd2 Results, Standings
The 2nd round of the SKN Rotax Max Challenge Malaysia series was held at the Sepang International Karting Circuit last weekend. The weather played a large part in the weekend with several wet races shuffling the order. View the full results HERE, and download the championship standings HERE.
AAM Malaysian Championships
The first round of the AAM Malaysian Karting Championships were held last Sunday at the Sepang Karting Circuit. Ray Kong (Senior 125 Open), Akash Neil Nandy (Junior), and Muhammad Luqman Hakim (Cadet) emerged the winners. A lot of the racing was done in wet weather, which did a good job of mixing up the results from heat to heat. View the full results on MyLaps HERE.

Rotax Asia Challenge Round 2 (Results+Standings)
The second round of the Rotax Asia Zone Challenge was held last weekend at the Park Kenjeran Circuit in Surabaya, Indonesia. Afiq Ikhwan took the win in the Senior category, while another Malaysian Gilbert Ang dominated the Junior event. Indonesian driver Gezha Sudirman took the win in MicroMax while Jeffry Ibrahim won the Masters category. Read on for championship standings, race results, and a few more pictures.
