The organisers of the WSK International series have announced their 2008 calendar. The series runs the KF1, KF2, KF3, and KZ2 categories.
KartingAsia.com Downtime
KartingAsia.com experienced ~12hrs of downtime but rest assured we haven't gone anywhere and we're not expecting any more problems. The problem was caused by a change in the DNS settings of the domain that didn't quite go according to plan. Sorry for the outage, now back to karting =).
KF3 star wins first time out with new team
Mackenzie Taylor won the first round of the Torneo Industrie (aka: the Industrial Trophy) at Parma, Italy (6 / 7 October) on his debut with Ricky Flynn Motorsport.
Monza Kart 10-hour Endurance Race
Here's something interesting, a 10 hour kart race on the actual Monza F1 track. 60 teams, 6-10 drivers per team, Le-Mans style start on the 28-29 June 2008....
Thailand Karting Champs Rd.6
The 6th round of the Thailand National Karting Championships was held last weekend at the Saraburi circuit which will be getting a lot more use over the next month or so.
Round 6 results here, and pictures on kartthai.com here. For those that were racing in Saraburi, do you mind helping out a driver from Hong Kong with a bit of info about the track in the forums here?

Parents have to learn about sportsmanship too!
There's a great quick article on e-kmi.com about parents at the kart track. In short it advices parents not to live vicariously through their kids, don't expect your kid to become Schumacher, don't criticize your child and especially other kids, leave the track officials alone (please!), smile, and listen to your kid!
