Asian Drivers Compete in Europe – WSK
Mitchell Gilbert representing Malaysia, Stefano Marcelo from the Philippines, and Tanart Sathienthirakul from Thailand are attacking the first round of the WSK series this weekend in La Conca, Italy. Mitch is racing in KF3 as a factory driver in the Kosmic team using Vortex engines. Tanart is driving with the PDB Racing Team on a Gillart-Parilla combo in KF2. Also in KF2 Stefano is racing with Maranello Kart on a TM engine. The WSK championship is a 6-round series attracting the best karting drivers in Europe with all major factory teams taking part. Karting categories in the WSK are KF1, KF2, KF3, and KZ2. Each category is raced at 5 of the 6 rounds. Results will soon start being available on the WSK website.
