International-level track to be built in Singapore?
With F1 fever hitting Singapore in anticipation of their first F1 race in September next year, motorsports has gathered a lot of attention of late. This has resulted to increased interest in developing the national motorsports scene and since Singapore doesn't have a permanent track (the F1 track is a temporary street circuit), plans have been put forward to build a new race track for cars and bikes, as well as a kart track in the same complex.

The Weekend Mail published an article on Malaysian driver Bryan Mehta. The article is about his ambitions for the Rotax Max Grand Finals to be held in Al Ain, UAE in about a month's time.

If you live in Singapore and you're interested in getting started in karting you should look no further than joining the recently launched amateur group from karters called "Singapore Karting Racers." Their first event is scheduled for Nov 11th at Jurong Kart World. Thailand Karting Champs Rd.6
The 6th round of the Thailand National Karting Championships was held last weekend at the Saraburi circuit which will be getting a lot more use over the next month or so.
