Syazwan Wins on Senior Debut

Syazwan - FilePic Press Release This past weekend, Syazwan Mohd Noor added to his growing reputation as one of the most promising karters in Malaysia as well as his status of the “iron man” of Malaysian karting by competing in both senior and junior categories in the KKS Malaysian Karting Championships. The junior category was disappointing with an engine that got progressively slower during the day. Syazwan fought hard during the heats and pre-final to get good finishing places but retired from the final due to serious engine problems.

The 4th round of the AAM Malaysian Karting Championship was held at the Sepang Karting Circuit last wekeend. Syazwan Mohd Noor took the 125 Open category win ahead of Tan Wei Ron and Mikko Nassi. Faris Anwar Redza was first in the cadet category followed by James Pull and Nicholas Eravelly. Muhammad Danial won the Juniors with Daniel Woodroof in 2nd and Shaqeer Haire in 3rd. Rotax Invitatoinal Mark your calendars for the 8th-9th of January 2011. Sepang Karting Circuit in Malaysia looks set to host one of the largest Rotax events ever held in this region. With an unprecedented amount of interest coming from several countries it is already apparent that some categories will have entries closed early because the maximum number of competitors will be reached well before closing date for entries.
