The ROK Cup International Final has just been concluded at the South Garda Karting Track with non other than Michael Schumacher making a guest appearance at the event to greet the drivers. A fair few Asian drivers made the trip over to the event and faired quite well.
In the ROK Category Italian driver Emanuele Pagani took the win only just ahead of Lithuanians Martynas Griska and Simas Joudvirsis. Daniel Fuchs from Poland and Tepei Nakkaso rounded up the top 5. Stefano Marcelo from the Phlippines came home in 10th place. Malaysian driver Masedenal Ali struggled a bit not being able to make it into the final finishing the 2nd-chance heat in 32nd.
Maciej Bernacik from Poland took the Junior category win with Thai driver Tanart Sathienthirakul performing well taking 6th. Jose Antonio Turalba from the Philippines came in 12th closely followed by Malaysian driver Mohamad Nabil. Malaysian driver Mitchell Gilbert came in 25th after starting the pre-final in 9th but hitting some trouble early in the final. Indonesian driver Dustin Sofyan also made the final but hit trouble retiring after 11 laps.
